L’histoire commence avec un curieux jeu de Karl-Heinz Schmiel, Das Regeln wir schon. J’ai achet\u00e9 ce jeu, j’ai lu les r\u00e8gles. Le syst\u00e8me, m\u00ealant un m\u00e9canisme de d\u00e9compte des points relativement simple et la possibilit\u00e9 de voter sans cesse de nouvelles r\u00e8gles, \u00e9tait absolument g\u00e9nial. Pourtant, le jeu \u00e9tait un peu long, un peu complexe, un peu trop tactique l\u00e0 o\u00f9 j’attendais essentiellement du fun et de l’interaction \u2013 une r\u00e8gle de base aussi simple que possible sans cesse modifi\u00e9e au gr\u00e9 des votes des joueurs.<\/p>\n

J’avais envie, en partant des m\u00eames bases, de refaire ce jeu. Profitant du salon d’Essen, je suis all\u00e9 voir Karl-Heinz Schmiel sur le petit stand des \u00e9ditions Moskito et lui ai demand\u00e9 l’autorisation de faire “ma” version de Das Regeln wir schon, \u00e9tant entendu que les sous, si un jour il devait y en avoir, seraient partag\u00e9s moiti\u00e9-moiti\u00e9. Des sous, il y en a eu un peu, puisque ce jeu a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9, au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, par Jeux Descartes. Il est aujourd\u2019hui \u00e9puis\u00e9, sans r\u00e9\u00e9dition pr\u00e9vue, mais tout peut arriver.<\/p>\n

C’est mon ami G\u00e9rard Mathieu, qui avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 s\u00e9vi \u00e0 la grande \u00e9poque de Ludod\u00e9lire dans Temp\u00eate sur l’\u00e9chiquier et La Vall\u00e9e des Mammouths, qui a illustr\u00e9 Democrazy.<\/p>\n

Everything started with Karl-Heinz Schmiel’s game Das Regeln wir schon. I bought the game and went through the rules. The basic idea – a simple scoring system modified by rules voted by the players – was outstanding. However, I found the game a little too long, a little too complex, a little too tactical, when I was looking merely for fun and player interaction, for a very basic simple rules endlessly modified by votes from the players. I immediately wanted to make “my” version of the game.<\/em>
\nA few weeks later, at the Essen fair, I looked for the Moskito boot and asked Karl-Heinz Schmiel if he would mind if I make my own adaptation of Das Regeln wir Schon, providing we share the money, There has been some money, not a lot, when the game was published, in the early 2000 years, by Jeux Descartes. This game is now out of print, with no new version considered so far, but who knows\u2026 <\/em><\/p>\n

My friend G\u00e9rard Mathieu, who already commited the cartoons for Temp\u00eate sur l’\u00e9chiquier and La Vall\u00e9e des Mammouths when he worked at Ludodelire, has illustrated Democrazy.<\/em><\/p>\n
