Quelques jours avant mes boites de Formula E, j’ai achet\u00e9 Camel Cup. Tous deux sont des jeux de course simples et rapides, mais ils n’ont pour le reste pas grand chose \u00e0 voir. Camel Cup, auquel je n’ai pas encore jou\u00e9 mais qui a l’air bien amusant, est un jeu de pari dans lequel on ne sait pas tr\u00e8s bien qui a mis\u00e9 sur quel chameau – un genre que j’ai toujours appr\u00e9ci\u00e9, dans la lign\u00e9e de Jockey, La Course des Tortues ou La Poursuite en Ballon; Formula E est un jeu de course o\u00f9 chaque joueur pilote un \u00e9l\u00e9phant, plus dans la lign\u00e9e d’Ave Cesar. Les chameaux de Camel Cup se montent dessus, les \u00e9l\u00e9phants de Formula E se contentent de se bousculer.<\/p>\n

Il n’emp\u00eache qu’il y a a, dans le titre et le traitement graphique, un esprit commun ! On pourrait avoir Formula C et Elephant Cup – C’\u00e9tait dans l’air…<\/p>\n

A few days before I got my advance copies of Formula E, I bought a copy of Camel Cup. Both are light and fast paced race games, but they have nothing in common in their mechanisms. Camel Cup looks great from reading the rules but I have not played it yet. It is a betting game in which one doesn’t know what camel the other players have bet on, a genre I always liked, in the line of Jockey, The Great Balloon race or Ribbit. Formula E is a more classical race game, in which every player controls an elephant, more in the line of Ave Caesar. Camels in Camel Cup can be stacked one on top of another, while Elephants in Formula E can push one another.<\/em><\/p>\n

Anyway, the puns in the game names and the graphic styles feel a bit similar. They could have been names Formula C and Elephant Cup! Fun coincidence.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
