Barbara Turquier est universitaire, angliciste, sa s\u0153ur Emmanuelle Piard est architecte, et toutes deux sont les auteurs de Et Toque, un d\u00e9licieux jeu de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 culinaire. Toy\u2019s Don\u2019t Cry, leur blog, se situe au croisement de leurs passions \u2013 il y est question de jouets et de jeux, avec un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier pour le design, et une certaine r\u00e9currence du style am\u00e9ricain des ann\u00e9es trente aux ann\u00e9es soixante-dix. Tout cela est certainement un peu bobo, mais c\u2019est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able \u00e0 visiter, \u00e0 feuilleter.<\/p>\n

Si j\u2019en parle aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est aussi parce que le dernier post\u00e9 sur Toys Don\u2019t Cry est une interview que j\u2019avais donn\u00e9 \u00e0 Barbara lors des derni\u00e8res rencontres ludopathiques, en juin dernier. Barbara Turquier in an English language scholar, her sister Emmanuelle Piard is an architect, and they both designed Et Toque, a boardgame about French cuisine. No wonder their blog, Toy\u2019s Don\u2019t Cry, mixes all this \u2013 except cooking. It\u2019s about toys and games, with an emphasis on graphic design, and a recurrence of older American stuff, from the thirties to the seventies. All this feels a bit bobo, but it\u2019s a pleasure to browse and read \u2013 though in French only.<\/em><\/p>\n
