Quand on a la tête dans le sable, on ne voit plus très bien ce qu’il se passe autour. C’est pour cette raison que Bruno Cathala et moi avons appelé “les Autruches” ce petit jeu de stratégie et de mémoire pour deux joueurs.

Les Autruches, c’est donc un tout petit jeu abstrait pour deux joueurs. Le but du jeu est de faire parvenir vos autruches de l’autre côté du plateau de jeu, mais avec un plateau de jeu qui tourne, on finit par ne plus très bien savoir à qui appartient quelle autruche…

Ce jeu est publié par Nestor Games, un petit éditeur espagnol qui imprime “à la demande” et s’est spécialisé dans ces petits jeux malins au matériel relativement modeste. Il n’est donc pas vendu en boutique et doit être commandé sur le site de l’éditeur.

 It’s hard to keep track of all that’s happening around when your head is buried in the sand. That’s the reason why Bruno Cathala and I have named this small strategy and memory game “Ostriches”.

Ostriches is a light two player abstract game. The goal of the game is to bring your ostriches to the other side of the board. It’s not that easy when parts of the board keep turning around and you have troubles keeping track of which ostriches are yours and which are not.

Ostriches is published by Nestor Games, a small Spanish publisher who prints games on demand and is specialized in light, cute and clever game with few components. It is therefore not sold in stores, and must be ordered directly from the publisher’s website.
